POSITION DESCRIPTION: Facilities Manager
Grand View School is looking for a self starting leader to oversee the school facilities, equipment, and grounds.
ANNUAL SALARY: $41,000 to $57,000 based on experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree preferred, technical school education, or experience in management.
Experience in maintenance, custodial services, or a technical trade.
Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally.
Ability to push / pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve month employment with benefits provided according to the Classified Personnel policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, schedule, and direct the maintenance and repair of facilities, systems, and grounds.
- Oversee the maintenance and custodial staff.
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to locate and address maintenance problems.
- Identify and address safety hazards.
- Advise the Superintendent of facility needs.
- Plan for future maintenance needs.
- Maintain a list of contacts of suppliers, service providers, tradesmen, etc.
- Acquire estimates and quotes for projects as needed.
- Prepare requisitions for purchases needed.
- Review and approve invoices for payment.
- Oversee an inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Plan and schedule maintenance of district vehicles.
- Operate district vehicles as needed including buses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
